The R28 from Army Armaments is a heavy weight, full metal, gas blow back pistol in the style of a 1911 (manufactured by USA firearms manufacturer Kimber). The pistol has a metal upper, lower, trigger, hammer, front and rear sites. The pistol features everything you would expect from the iconic 1911 series including a beaver tail safety at the back of the pistol grip (this means that you will not be able to fire the weapon unless it is gripped correctly and the safety is depressed onto the grip – this prevents accidental discharge) and slide lock for when the pistol is not in use and need to be made safe for transport. The realistic blow back feature on this pistol is one of the harder kicking on the market and the entire top slide recoils with every shot. When the last round is fired the pistols top slide will automatically lock to the rear to show that you are out of ammunition and will need to reload or change magazines.

We do advise that you clean your pistol after use to ensure that you prolong the life of the product and to prevent failures. This is made simple on the R28 as by removing the metal take down pin on the side of the pistol it makes it very easy to separate the top slide from the lower and clean and lubricate the internals
