Looking for a highly accurate, fast-handling gas carbine that stands out from the usual M4 crowd? The Ace 1 Arms R10/22 Gas Blowback Rifle delivers an exceptional blend of modern ergonomics and snappy performance
Want to buy a realistic-looking black airsoft gun (RIF) from onlyBBguns? Because these guns look so real, UK law (the VCRA Act) requires you to have a valid reason, called a "defence," to own one. Essentially, you need to prove you're buying it for airsoft skirmishing (the sport itself), not for any other purpose.
Here's how you can demonstrate your defence to onlyBBguns and buy a black airsoft gun:
Don't have either of those? No problem! You can still buy the airsoft gun. onlyBBguns can paint it in a two-tone colour scheme. This means part of the gun will be sprayed a bright, non-realistic colour. This makes the gun a "non-realistic imitation firearm" and avoids the restrictions of the VCRA Act. Anyone over 18 can legally buy a two-tone airsoft gun.

The Ace 1 Arms R10/22 Gas Blowback Rifle brings one of the world's most popular rimfire platforms straight into the airsoft arena. Engineered for players who value rapid target acquisition, lightweight maneuverability, and mechanical realism, this rifle departs from the standard tactical platforms to offer something truly unique. Whether you are hunting targets at long range or navigating dense woodland terrain, the R10/22 provides a streamlined, incredibly satisfying shooting experience.
At the heart of the R10/22 is its modern, high-grade polymer stock. Designed to mimic contemporary real-steel chassis upgrades, it provides an ergonomic grip, a comfortable cheek weld, and a textured finish that holds up beautifully in damp British weather. The barrel and receiver are constructed from robust metal alloys, giving the rifle a realistic heft without making it cumbersome during long game days.
Equipped with a finely tuned gas blowback system, every pull of the trigger yields a snappy, metallic cycle. The bolt mechanism resets instantly, allowing for rapid follow-up shots while delivering a punchy impulse against your shoulder. Powered by standard airsoft green gas, the internal valve system is optimized to maximize gas efficiency, keeping your muzzle velocity consistent even during rapid semi-automatic fire.
A prominent Picatinny rail runs along the top of the receiver, making it incredibly simple to mount your preferred red dot sight, holographic optic, or low-power variable optic (LPVO).
Tactical Flexibility: Ideal for both high-speed skirmishing and dedicated scout/marksman roles.
Hop-Up Adjustability: Features a highly precise dial system to easily fine-tune your BB flight path for heavy-weight ammo (.25g to .32g recommended).
Barrel Threading: Ready for standard muzzle devices, tracer units, or suppressors to suit your style of play.
For the skirmisher, the R10/22 offers a pointable, fast-firing rifle that excels at carving through tight angles. For the collector, the mechanical realism of the breakdown, the bolt action, and the authentic magazine release offer a highly satisfying piece of engineering. Elevate your loadout with a rifle built for performance and reliability.
