Essential HPA Power: Airtac T1P Air Tank (48CI/0.8 Litre)

For any airsoft player making the transition to High-Pressure Air (HPA), the air tank is the foundational component of the entire system. The Airtac T1P Air Tank, provides the perfect balance of size, capacity, and certified safety, making it the premier choice for demanding players.

Optimal Balance for Mobility and Capacity

The 48 Cubic Inch (0.8 Litre) size is widely regarded as the sweet spot for mobile airsoft loadouts. It offers a substantial shot count—easily allowing players to get through multiple long games or sustained suppressed fire sessions—while remaining compact and lightweight enough to be comfortably carried in a backpack or on a specialized vest mount. This size is particularly favored and dynamic CQB players who cannot be weighed down by bulky, heavy tanks.

Certified Safety and High Pressure

This tank is built from robust materials (typically a durable Aluminum Alloy) designed to safely withstand high internal pressures, often rated at 4500 PSI (or similar high-pressure standard, depending on the model).

Crucially, the Rho and Pi markings confirm that the tank meets strict European and international standards for pressure vessel certification. This is a non-negotiable safety feature, giving the user full confidence in the tank's construction and longevity.

Please Note: This air tank must be paired with a suitable HPA regulator (sold separately) to safely reduce the output pressure before connecting to any airsoft system (engines or GBB adapters)

Always:

  • Keep the thread and inside of your tank away from oil, dirt or other contaminants.
  • Make sure your tank has not passed the re-test date (5 years from date of manufacture, which is stamped on the neck of the bottle)
  • Keep the outside of your bottle clean. Use only a damp cloth to clean.
  • Store in a dry, cool and adequately ventilated place.
  • Have your bottle serviced by a qualified individual/company.
  • Make sure all accessories in the bottle are serviced, reviewed, inspected and handled in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Condemn the cylinder if it shows signs of corrosion, holes or dents, if it has been damaged by heat, a fall, or other. Some may say you can retest the cylinder if dented / corroded, I would always just condemn it.
  • In the event that a leak is detected, the tank must not be refilled under any circumstances.

Never:

  • Modify the bottle
  • Carry out any 'works' on a bottle yourself. A competant professional is necessary for any modification / works.
  • Deliberately drop or heat your bottle.
  • Expose your bottle to excessive heat (> 50 ° C).
  • Attempt to change the thread or force a valve inside the bottle.
  • Attempt to remove metal from the bottle by any means, as this will render the cylinder unsuitable for its nominal pressure.
  • Modify your bottle by adding additional openings for gauges or filling tips.
  • Paint the bottle
  • Use the bottle for something other than its intended use.
  • Request that the bottle be filled beyond its nominal capacity. An overflow is dangerous.
  • Use or have your bottle filled if it leaks or if you suspect it is damaged. In this case, refer the bottle to an authorized specialist for a detailed visual inspection.
  • Fill a bottle that has exceeded its date of inspection and periodic retest.
  • Change your bottle in any way. Unauthorized modifications are illegal and could make the bottle unsafe.
  • Never fill a bottle designed for compressed air with CO2 or any other gas.

Two tone
We can two tone any weapon we sell at Bespoke Airsoft. The purpose for two toning is if you do not hold a valid defense under the Violent Crimes Reduction Act (VCRA, 2006) which is to prevent the misuse of Replica Weapons, which applies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The gun will be sprayed 51% in a bright/primary color (we do only blue, green and red currently). The process of two toning currently runs at 2 working days depending on Drying Time, which is effected by Ambient Temperature and Weather. and currently no express delivery is available for this even if you select it at checkout.

FAQs

1.     What is a BB gun used for?  BB guns are mostly used for practice shooting and training. The stronger ones (i.e. Air Rifles) can also control pests or hunt small animals.

2.     Do you need a Licence in the UK for a BB gun? No, you don't need a licence for a BB gun in the UK, but there are rules. The BB Gun needs to be in two colours; one has to be a primary. All our guns are on the website as per default.

3.     Is a BB gun a good weapon?   BB guns, despite sometimes being seen as toys, can be dangerous. They fire pellets at high speeds and can cause serious harm, or even be deadly in some situations.

4.     Can you shoot BB guns in public in the UK without a Firearm license? BB guns in the UK navigate a legal grey area. While certain models, notably low-power 'soft air' types, typically evade classification as section 1 firearms, more potent versions may require a valid firearms certificate to avoid legal repercussions.

5.     Can you shoot a BB gun in your garden? You can use a BB gun in your garden under UK law, but you have to ensure the pellets don't go into your neighbour's yard, plot or land. If they do and you don't have permission, it's against the law.

6.     Which UK law am I breaking if the pellets go into my neighbour's law without permission?  If your BB gun pellets go into your neighbour's yard without permission, you're breaking UK laws. Specifically, the 1968 Firearms Act and possibly the 2003 Anti-Social Behaviour Act, because you may be causing your neighbours trouble or worry.
