Want to buy a realistic-looking black airsoft gun (RIF) from onlyBBguns? Because these guns look so real, UK law (the VCRA Act) requires you to have a valid reason, called a "defence," to own one. Essentially, you need to prove you're buying it for airsoft skirmishing (the sport itself), not for any other purpose.
Here's how you can demonstrate your defence to onlyBBguns and buy a black airsoft gun:
Don't have either of those? No problem! You can still buy the airsoft gun. onlyBBguns can paint it in a two-tone colour scheme. This means part of the gun will be sprayed a bright, non-realistic colour. This makes the gun a "non-realistic imitation firearm" and avoids the restrictions of the VCRA Act. Anyone over 18 can legally buy a two-tone airsoft gun.

The Remington M870 platform, when fully modernized and optimized for aggressive tactical use, becomes a relentless force on the airsoft field.
The Strike Industries M870 Pump Action Shotgun Replica (Model 8892), a high-quality collaboration between EMG and Golden Eagle, represents the ultimate long-barreled tactical version. This shotgun is fully licensed by Strike Industries, blending the highest level of mechanical realism with enhanced, modern ergonomics.
The structural integrity of this shotgun is assured by its heavy-duty Full Metal Construction across the receiver, long barrel, and magazine tube. This dedication to metal ensures superior durability and delivers a realistic, robust weight of approximately 30 kg.
This model is distinguished by its Strike Industries licensing, which is visually apparent through trademarks and its enhanced furniture. It features a robust Tactical Stock and Pistol Grip, replacing the traditional wood/synthetic stock for superior recoil control and consistent shoulder positioning during rapid pump cycles.
Crucially, the Extended Receiver Rail/Heat Shield provides a full-length 20mm Picatinny surface, making this shotgun immediately optics-ready and ideal for mounting larger tactical scopes or red dots for extended close-range engagement.
The functional core of the Strike Industries M870 Shotgun is its overwhelming firepower. It fires Three (3) BBs simultaneously with every pull of the pump action. This Tri-Shot capability instantly maximizes the hit probability and ensures a wide, decisive scatter pattern, making it a powerful tool for room clearing and breaking enemy pushes. Powering this action is the highly efficient Gas System (V2).
The V2 system uses gas pressure to cycle the loading and bolt mechanism, resulting in a significantly lighter, smoother pump-action cycle compared to tiring spring-powered shotguns. This reliable gas cycling ensures consistent FPS and a smooth operation, which is critical for achieving rapid follow-up shots in competitive CQB scenarios. The reliability provided by the V2 system is the key to maintaining a consistent high rate of fire.
The Strike Industries M870 Shotgun maintains the immersive realism of its operation by feeding from standard Airsoft Shotgun Shells (30 BBs per shell), stored in the internal reservoir. The satisfying manual of arms, where the shooter must pump the foregrip after every shot to chamber the next three BBs, provides the tactile feedback that makes the platform so rewarding.
The tactical stock and pistol grip enhance the weapon's control, allowing the user to manage the shotgun's recoil and cycle faster than with traditional furniture. This complete package perfectly marries high-fidelity operational realism with the modern tactical demands of the Strike Industries brand, making it the definitive, high-performance pump-action primary weapon for any serious airsoft player. The robust build guarantees long-term durability, ensuring years of reliable service
