Want to buy a realistic-looking black airsoft gun (RIF) from onlyBBguns? Because these guns look so real, UK law (the VCRA Act) requires you to have a valid reason, called a "defence," to own one. Essentially, you need to prove you're buying it for airsoft skirmishing (the sport itself), not for any other purpose.
Here's how you can demonstrate your defence to onlyBBguns and buy a black airsoft gun:
Don't have either of those? No problem! You can still buy the airsoft gun. onlyBBguns can paint it in a two-tone colour scheme. This means part of the gun will be sprayed a bright, non-realistic colour. This makes the gun a "non-realistic imitation firearm" and avoids the restrictions of the VCRA Act. Anyone over 18 can legally buy a two-tone airsoft gun.

WE 33 Series Gen 3 Gas Blowback Pistol
Channel classic Cold War military history on the skirmish field with the rugged reliability and realistic operation of the WE 33 Series Gen 3 Gas Blowback Pistol! Faithfully recreating one of the most widely fielded military sidearms of the 20th century, this full-metal pistol delivers simple, robust mechanics and authentic handling in an exceptionally slim, easily holsterable profile.
Rugged Full-Metal Construction & Classic Soviet Styling Built entirely from high-grade metal alloy, the WE 33 Gen 3 features the unmistakable clean lines and utilitarian profile of the classic service pistol. The frame and slide provide a reassuring, realistic heft in the hand, accented by traditional black polymer grip plates embossed with the iconic five-point star and "CCCP" insignia. The base of the grip incorporates an authentic lanyard loop for securing your sidearm during high-intensity field maneuvers.
Snappy Gas Blowback Action & Slimline Ergonomics Despite its vintage origins, the WE 33 is engineered with modern airsoft performance in mind. Operating on Green Gas, the slide cycles with a fast, snappy recoil stroke, locking firmly back on an empty magazine. Its single-stack frame architecture makes the grip exceptionally slim and comfortable, allowing shooters of all hand sizes to achieve a natural, instinctive point of aim.
Precision Hop-Up & Streamlined Operation The pistol features an adjustable internal hop-up unit accessible by field-stripping the slide, allowing you to fine-tune your backspin for flat, consistent BB flight paths across outdoor and indoor fields. The single-action trigger provides a crisp, predictable break, while fixed low-profile combat sights maintain a snag-free draw from vintage leather or modern universal holsters.
Whether you are completing a historical reenactment loadout, looking for a dependable Cold War secondary, or wanting a unique, slimline full-metal GBB pistol, the WE 33 Series Gen 3 Gas Blowback Pistol delivers proven performance and classic styling in every engagement.
